I spent days and days working on a new dress only to realize, after I finished the fitted bodice, that I didn't grade the damn pattern correctly to fit my double Ds, so the damn thing fit everywhere except through the bust. Lucky me, now I must run back to the store, grab up some more of that fabric, recut my pattern and redo the damn dress. For 2 weeks, I've worked on this pattern and this dress just to screw it up on something so fucking elementary I should be able to do it in my sleep. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

Well, I've gotten off my ass and started sewing again. I kinda had to since most of the jeans in my closet hove gotten too short and will be going to Goodwill soon. Yanno, they don't start off too short, they start off about an 1 off from being the length I like, I and buy them hoping that the makers had the good manners to pre-shrink their material before manufacturing the jeans, but they almost never do. So about 2 out of ever 3 pairs of jeans I buy will shrink so much they'll be way too short for my liking after about a month or 2.

So I'll make my own jeans for the time being. No biggie, though for the typical commercial pants pattern, I usually have to adjust the pattern 2-4 goddamn inches to get the proper length. The two pair I finished over the weekend, I ended up adding 4 inches overall.
