I'm not nearly tall enough (5' 10") and a Southern California native, I'm happy to say. I live and work in the beautiful San Fernando Valley.

I studied art and like to watercolor. I've sold 2 entire paintings in my life. I'm currently unemployed, a casualty of the crappy economy, having been unceremoniously terminated, along with my entire department, the Friday before Thanksgiving. I'm looking for a new job, and am considering expanding my search out of L.A. and relocating to the Bay Area.

I like all sorts of travel, except cruises, and like to get away when I can. I'd like to someday go to Europe, and hope to take a hiking trip across Scotland.

I like to read damn near everything, including magazines, fiction, non-fiction, comic books. I have a lot of books and not a lot of space to store them in.

I'm a huge basketball fan (GO LAKERS!!!), though I also dig baseball and hockey, and sometimes football.

I like to sew and am oddly proud to say that, with the exception of some vintage dresses I bought for my small collection, I don't own a single dress that I haven't made with my own hands.

I'm single and dating an overeducated, high maintenance blond, who's rather good at getting on my nerves, but I like him all the same.

I started this journal because my friend Larry wanted a way to keep up with what I'm doing and sent me an invite code, and since Larry's oh, so sweet, I'm here.
