One of my photos of a yummy french dip sandwich from Phillipe's, has been published on Playboy.com in an article about the best sandwiches in America. And, since this was Playboy, they could afford to pay me with more than just a photo credit. My photo is featured on the article front page as part of the montage, and separately on the page about Phillipe's.

The article can be found here, and my photo of a delicious Phillipe's French Dip sandwich, with photo credit, can be seen here.

Vile LA is a tour company offering private tours of Los Angeles to small groups. Their aim is to over people tours that go beyond the typical touristy sites.

Why am I asking you to check out their web site? Because a while back they asked to use one of my photos for their site, and you can see it there now.

Go to vile-la.com, click the next button until you get to "Architecture & Landmarks". My photo of the rotunda of the Los Angeles Central Library in downtown LA is the image used to represent the architecture and landmarks tour.

Yay me, I've been published again!

Another one of my shots has been used on a website.

A photo I took of Jack Nicholson and Lou Adler at a Lakers game has been used in a short article about the average price of NBA tickets on the Web site www.vitalstatics.info.

Click the link to see the shot, and to see why I don't go to many Lakers games.

Online, that is. Two photos I took at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena have been included, with credit and a link back to the photos on my Flickr page, in the current edition of Schmaps Los Angeles travel guide.

Schmap is an interactive guide that can be downloaded as a desktop application or viewed online, and I had never heard of them before being asked to submit some of my photos. But, after looking at their site and reading about them (and having Brett take a look at their image use agreement), I decided to give it a try and see what happens.

What's really cool is I was asked to submit photos for inclusion, which is very flattering. Someone looked at my photos and thought they were good enough to be published somewhere, so that's real incentive to keep shooting.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in taking a look at the photos that were included, click here, scroll down to the Norton Simon Museum and select it, and in the right side frame, you'll see a photo with scroll arrows on each side, and just click the arrows to see all the photos.
