bessie_smithI gave Allison and Alea their gifts today. Allison got tempted and opened hers about an hour after I gave it to her, then ran over to production to thank me. I also gave Allison a gift for her little boy, Max. Not that those three presents were heavy, but Max's was pretty bulky, so I could only pack and carry those three to work and every one else has to wait until Friday. I still have a bunch of little gifts to bring to work tomorrow, and that will take care of my co-workers.
I mailed a bunch of things yesterday, including Aaron and Patrice's presents. Considering how late I'm getting this stuff mailed out, the post office was relatively painless last night. It only took about 20 minutes to get through the line and everything done. I have to FedEx Larry's present and that heavy ass box of gifts me and mom are sending back for my sisters in DC, and I do mean heavy. I don't look forward to finding out how much FedEx will charge to ship and insure that monster. Those have to go out on Friday
Then aside from getting my mother's gift wrapped up, and putting away all the boxes that hold the decorations, I'm all done with all that X-mas prep jazz and can relax. No more heavy lifting until after the new year.
